    Description

    US Philippines 5 Pesos WW2 Negros Occidental Emergency Notes C/S VICTORIAS, Municipal Treasurer. Scarce counterstamp
    VICTORIAS did not issue any notes during the war, used counterstamped notes from Negros Occidental.
    Due to the scarcity of currency some municipalities have to get their notes from nearby cities who can supply them with the needed money. The municipal treasurer counterstamped and sign the notes to indicate that it was used in that area.
