US Philippines National Bank 2 Pesos WW2 l Emergency Notes C/S KINOGITAN, Misamis Oriental. Scarce counterstamp
Kinoguitan did not issue any notes during the war, used counterstamped notes from Iloilo.
Due to the scarcity of currency some municipalities have to get their notes from nearby cities who can supply them with the needed money. The municipal treasurer counterstamped and sign the notes to indicate that it was used in that area.
