    Description

    US Philippines National Bank 10 Pesos WW2 l Emergency Notes C/S CADIZ, Negros Occidental. Scarce counterstamp
    CADIZ did not issue any notes during the war, used counterstamped notes from Iloilo.
    Due to the scarcity of currency some municipalities have to get their notes from nearby cities who can supply them with the needed money. The municipal treasurer counterstamped and sign the notes to indicate that it was used in that area.
