WW 2 Era Kwansei Gakuin Commercial College 1938 Year Book Kobe Japan

You are bidding on an original 1938 year book (published almost a year after the start of the 2nd Sino-Japanese War).
This year book was for The Kwansei Gakuin Commercial College of Kobe Japan. This 119 page pictorial book is bound in what looks like black rough grained leather. The pictures are printed on heavy card stock & are all in black & white. There is also a red celluloid/cellophane sheet between the second & third page. This page has Japanese writing which we have been told are the words to the school song. As with all year books, this one has photos of the staff & student body as well as War related pics & great full page ad for the Kobe Port Festival of Nov. 6,7 & 8. The athletic photos have scenes of the Judo team as well as the Ice Hockey Team! This book offers a great insight into student life  during a time of great change happening in Japan & around the world.
The condition is good, there is some wear to the binding & the spine but the pages are still fairly tight.
