    Description

    This is a Teac 3.5" internal floppy drive, model FD-235HF.  It has been cleaned, including cleaning the heads.
    It has been fully tested using Check-It's floppy tests (Check-It is a well-respected vintage computer diagnostic suite), and with SpinRite (an HDD/FDD media test program), with no errors detected.  The reports are included in the pictures.  The floppy disk used for testing is included, inserted as a head protector for shipping
    Most sellers, if they test at all, just check that the drive will read a floppy.  I have tested read and write on all tracks, hysteresis (basically whether the positioning mechanism will accurately get to a track no matter which direction it is coming from), and rotational speed.  Wouldn't you rather get a drive that you know won't give you trouble?
    Most drives weigh just under a pound.  With adequate packing materials they need to go by Priority Mail, and I find that Small Flat Rate boxes work well.
