Great souvenir from Crystal Cave in Spring Valley, Wisconsin.  I am not sure if it was ever used, it doesn't look like it was.  I took pictures outside in the sun to demonstrate the beautiful colors on this piece.  I did NOTHING to clean it up, it is in "as found" condition.  There is a tag on back that states, "Made in Japan."  This is a vintage piece, but I do not know the age.  Judging from the style and colors, I'd guess 1940's or 50's.
The ash tray measures approximately 5" wide x 3 1/2" tall.  There is a blemish under the "A" in cave.  I don't know if it will come off, I didn't want to take a chance with any cleaning solutions for fear of damaging the background color.  As I stated earlier, I didn't even wash this in soap and water, I decided to leave it as is because it looks spectacular the way it is.
