A SUPER Rare Unissued UNC 2001 ( released in 2012 ) Philippines 2000 peso ( P 189b ) Centennial Commemorative Banknote with Nice number, A 029088, with folder, up for auction/bidding. This is an UNISSUED Centennial Commemorative Banknote. The issue is supposed to release in celebration of the Philippines Independence 100 years( 1989-1998), but due to the "overthrown " of the President, Jose E. Estrada, the issue of the 5,000,000 ( 5 million ) pcs is withdrawn. The New Millennium Banknote with the size of 160mm by 66mm, is the SMALLER version of the Centennial Commemorative Banknote but is not legal tender. In 2012 , BSP released for sale of 50,000 pcs of the banknote for historical, numismatics, education & other purposes. The Banknote is in original UNC condition. The uneven cutting ( if any ) on the edges is from original source. Please see the scan 1 & 2 for the obverse & reverse of the note in the folder & this is the note you will get, A029088. Scan 3 & 4 is the obverse & reverse of the banknote. Scan 5 is the front & back page of the folder. For more details of the issue & the banknote, please see Scan 6( issued by BSP).
