Solid 14k white and yellow gold handmade Italian necklace, stamped “ITALY 585”, 19.5” long, 24g, 5mm wide, 1990's vintage
I just had the 14k clasp replaced with a brand new 14k clasp so you don’t have to worry about
loosing the chain due to
spring failure of an old clasp, and they do fail! Now you will have no worries!

The Answer:
When I got married to my second wife in 1994 her parents had this family tradition of buying the new family member a piece of fine jewelry. They took me to the jewelry district and let me pick out what I liked and I picked this necklace.
I have been wearing this necklace continuously since 1994…!!!
My current wife, wife #3,  didn’t like seeing that necklace on me constantly reminding her of my past marriage so she bought me a new necklace to replace it and that is why I am putting this one up for auction.
