The OMAS Legni Pregiati (Exotic Precious Woods) was a high-end Collection of 15 fountain pens
fashioned from twelve exotic woods from various nations and
crafted in two shapes traditionally associated with OMAS (faceted -> Paragon and ogival -> Ogiva)
. Woods include: violet ebony, myrtle, pernambuco, yew, maple, boxwood, amarante, Pau Violeto, cocobolo, amboina, lignum vitae and thuya.
This extraordinary series of fountain pens was offered by OMAS from 1995 to 1997.
Here offered for sale is a Omas 'Legni Pregiati' Exotic Wood Faceted Cocobolo Fountain Pen.
The cocobolo cap and barrel having a Medium (M)18-karat gold nib, not inked.
The pen does not seem to be inked and it comes in pristine condition.
It comes with all original boxes and papers
accompanied by the inner wood box, outer box, pouch and papers.
Numbered 109. Outer box having wear to the corners.

A fine piece that isn't common and is becoming more desirable following OMAS' unfortunate close.
