A stunning limited edition Ingegno Scrittorio de Leonardo sterling silver fountain pen by Omas, new and unused, fully boxed.
The “Ingegno Scrittorio”,  2002 Omas Limited edition, is a celebration of Italian Renaissance.
The cylindrical body of the pen is topped by a small sphere adorned with a cornelian cabochon.
The feeder is made of handcrafted ebonite and it holds the original nib, both aerodynamic and futuristic.
Limited to only 1000 pieces, this one is number 054 / 1000
Made entirely from solid sterling silver in cylindrical shape with decoration inspired by Da Vinci rosettes and knots.
Reads Omas around the base of the cap and has the silver hallmarks  near the filling knob.
The cap is marked with "Ingegno scrittorio" as well as the same inscription in mirror view.
Da Vinci could write as easily in "Mirror view" characters and used that to "cypher" his handwriting. "Ingegno Scrittorio" means "Writing ingenuity"
The pens cap is screw on and the pen is a piston filler , the pens nib is stunning made from 18K white gold and is a "M" (medium) size.
The pen comes housed inside a stunning oak presentation case with card outer box, info booklet and papers and a soft material pen sleeve is also included.
