OMAS GALILEO GALILEI 650th Anniversary FOUNTAIN PEN NEW Gold Medium Nib Ink

Description

This is a brand new medium gold tipped nib Omas Galileo Galilei commemorative fountain pen that commemorated the 650th Anniversary of the University of Pisa where Galileo got his degree. The pen was made in a limited edition of 4692 pieces and produced in 1993.
The pen is piston filled, with a calligraphic nib and platinum mask, celluloid body, and Greek key patterned band in rolled white gold. Also worthy of mention is its container of transparent perspex (heavy!), and its shape recalls the concept of the lens and Galileo's observation of the stars.
Comes with original box and paper (as seen in picture of Galileo which is actually a 6 page brochure).
Circumference of perspex is 18cm. Pen itself is 14cm from top to bottom.
The pictures you see show the actual pen on sale. The pen has never been polished and the patina you may see on its golden or silver parts is due to its unpolished condition. There may be some scratches due to handling.
