The Omas Arte Italiana design dates back to the early days of the company and draws inspiration from classic Greek architecture as reflected in its 12-sided design and the Greek key pattern on the cap band. The Omas Bibliotheque Nationale is a 1999 edition in honor of the National Library of France, a comprehensive library dedicated to "preserving the memory of the future". Omas uses an ivory vegetal resin with gold trim to symbolize the parchment manuscripts and the ivory, gold pen holders designed in the 1920's.
