Company lore has it that The Paragon was actually named by an Englishman.
A great connoisseur of art, luxury objects and especially fountain pens, the gentleman had an immediate love affair wit Armando Simoni's 12-faceted creation.
With his expert eye, he skillfully examined its fine details, tested its functionality and exclaimed: 'The Paragon!', comparing the pen with the famous diamond of the English Crown Jewels.
Produced since 1930 without interruption, the Paragon is recognized the world over as the signature piece of OMAS' production.
OMAS is proud to introduce a new version of the most prestigious member of the Arte Italiana collection, the Paragon Limited Edition.
All the accents on the pen, from the clip to the bands, are fashioned from solid 18K -750 yellow gold.
The wheel on the clip is elegant black onyx. The new Paragon Limited Edition is truly magnificent and will be available in only 300 numbered pieces.
To emphasize their importance and increase the value of this special limited edition, OMAS has now created a stunning gold seal.
Historically, important documents and letters have always been authenticated by a signature or by a special seal, unique by its design, easily recognized but difficult to replicate.
All pieces are certified with the gold seal signed by OMAS' President, Mrs. Raffaella Simoni Malaguti.
