"A splendid fountain pen characterized by classic and timeless styling, fashioned from silver and embellished with a series of slender bands representing the propagation of radio waves through the air. Then there is the clip, an elegant and appropriate stylization of the morse code wireless telegraph key, perfectly in keeping with the rest of the pen and it's fine 18 karat gold nib, which is engraved with the official logo of the Marconi Foundation.
Mention should be made of our presentation box for the Marconi 95 pen, a small though significant example of the cabinet makers craft, reminiscent of the wooden boxes in which the early electrical wireless instruments were housed; today's box is a desktop article designed to contain not only pens,  pencils and other assorted writing instruments, but also incidental items such as note cards: in short an elegant organizer.
This limited edition of ,800 pens represents the distance the signal was transmitted, 2,800 m, to Salisbury. Each pen is presented in a wooden box with a brass engraving of the machine Marconi used for his experiments. Marconi's experiments have had a profound effect on the way we communicate today. OMAS is proud to be a part of the century celebration which commemorates one of the most important discoveries in the history of communication, the discovery of the radio wave."
