Description
Minerva 'Wet Noodle' Classica (OMAS) Lg. Tiger-eye Fountain PenMinerva is the main sub-brand of OMAS. Minerva was made by OMAS. It's known for being Armando Simoni's preferred hi-end pen line with some unique celluloid patterns never used in the OMAS pens. The nibs are excellent and this brand was used to create other Italian sub-brands made by OMAS.
The pen is made of celluloid in a tiger’s eye, deep red and black striated pattern with a gold-plated shovel end clip.
It is a lever-filler with a new sac.
The Minerva 14ct nib flexes from .3mm (XF) to 1.84mm (BBB) and is almost a 'Wet Noodle' super-flexible nib. Capped it measures 130mm, (5") long; with a diameter of 12mm.
Mint; no scratches, no dents, no pitting on clip or cap ring; high gloss, deep, 3-D polish finish
(ca: 1934)
This is one of the few high-quality, OMAS, sub-brands made by OMAS, released in 1934, that is a 'wet noodle.'
