Description

This is a complete set of the Japanese Invasion Money (JIM) for the Philippines, 10 Pesos, with block letters (P-108).
The first letter indicates the country, e.g., "P" was used on the notes issued for the Philippines.
All (PA, PB, PC, PD, PE) are in this set. The PA-PC block letters are very scarce; the PD-PE are common.
These JIM notes were used in the countries that Japan invaded and occupied during WW2. Most of these notes have block letters or numbers, but some series also have serial numbers.
These notes were printed in Japan, sent to the occupied countries by ship, and then issued in that country.
If all the ships carrying a specific block letter or number were sunk, that combination might be lost forever.
These notes are circulated and intact; no tears, no rips, and no pin holes. The PA and PB have some writing on the front. The PD and PE are still crisp. P
lease take a look at the photos to see for yourself.
I am listing other JIM notes.
