    Description

    Cochem/Mosel, Germany
This is constructed of either tin or aluminum and is an
    unused
medallion/stocknagel approx 4.0 cm high by 2.8 cm wide in size.
This stocknagel is to be mounted on a walking stick with two nails to show the places that they had visited. These are called either pins, mounts, shields, stocknagel, medallions, placckette/scudetti or badges and do the same thing as lapel or hat pins, they tell everyone where you have been and what you have seen.
    Cochem
is the seat of and the biggest place in the Cochem-Zell district in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. With just under 5,000 inhabitants, Cochem falls just behind Kusel, in the like-named district, as Germany's second smallest district seat. Since 7 June 2009, it has belonged to the
    Verbandsgemeinde
    of Cochem
Thank you all for your interest. Please check my ebay store for many
    hundreds of
    additional German walking stick pins.
