    Description

This pottery vase is  3.5 inches tall with NO issues.  The red on yellow colors are quite strong. This is from 2004, the 40th Anniversary of Mills' great finish to the TEN K race. I recall watching it on TV after 10 P.M. His World Record time was not expected when he upset the field in the 10,000. AND, he is the only American to ever win a Gold Medal in this event. This vase was made in 2004 to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of that Historic Race.  Billy Mills was born in Pine Ridge, So. Dak. in 1938. He is a Oglala Lakota American Indian. Pine Ridge is in Pine Ridge County.
