This item is a package deal containing both photos of JOHN WAYNE on the night he was Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason.
The first photo in this package is an 11x14" black and white photo of JOHN WAYNE in the East on the night he was raised with the officers who participated in the Degree.
The names of the group participants is included so you can frame your photo as it appears on my office wall, which was professionally framed with the names of all the participants in the photo (see attached photo).
The second photo in this package is an 8x10" black and white photo of JOHN WAYNE at the Altar receiving his King James Masonic Bible from the Chaplain on the night he was Raised.
These photos are professionally processed on professional photo stock.

When filming a movie at the Old Tucson Movie Location, he heard that there was a Masonic Lodge in town with "Marion" in its name. Having a desire to be a Freemason, it is said that Brother John, whose real name was Marion Michael Morrison, mentioned that Marion McDaniel

to be the Masonic Lodge he joined (because of the name of the Lodge)!
John Wayne petitioned and became a member of Marion McDaniel Lodge #56 in Tucson, AZ and was Initiated an EA Mason Thursday, July 9, 1970; Passed to Degree of Fellowcraft Friday, July 10, 1970; and Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason Saturday, July 11, 1970.
All proceeds from the sale of this item will be used for the benefit of Marion McDaniel Lodge #56, F&AM, 3959 E Mabel St, Tucson, AZ 85712-3831.
