    Description

    In 1944 the US printed an emergency issue of Philippines currency for use by Naval aviators in case of being shot down during the attack on the Japanese occupiers. They are identical to the 1941 regular issue except for the serial number, and there were only 200,000 printed.
    This is the only short snorter I have ever seen on a Naval Aviator note. The reverse has many signatures.
