    Description

Being 105 years old this front page cover is in amazing condition. It is in it's original frame that was framed by my great grandmother in the late 1910's early 1920's. It will be shipped with care to ensure it arrives as it was sent. This paper is a mystery as the reverse side of the Titanic is a NYT cover story of World War One ( years 1914-1918). I have done hours of research and can not find where or why this reproduction was made. It's value lays in the fact that it is from 1916 (the date on the reverse side), the frame is from the same time period (1916) and the desire to own an interesting and unexplainable piece of Titanic's history. Attached in the photos you will see that today you can purchase a copy of this front page from the NYT website, framed it sells for 5.00. When it comes to pieces rare as this  like any piece of art value is made up by someone's desire to own it. I am only parting with it because I am an only child with no children so I have no  one to pass it on to. I would like someone to own it who will appreciate it's history and keep it alive for another 100 plus years. Should you have any information about this unique and rare 1916 re-print please feel free to message me.
The photo of it framed does it no justice. It is more like the unframed photo (they are the exact same item just taken in different lighting).
